Do you have a baby shower for baby #2?

I thinks its not so bad to do a "sprinkle" for baby 2 but maybe not so much a full blown shower.

My mother had one for very child. She has seven. A shower isn't just about giving baby gifts. It's about celebrating a new life. I think you can have as many showers as you want darlin.

I think it's rude to ask people to come buy you more baby stuff when they just did not that long ago. Just my opinion though.

I didn't think so at first but someone told me that every baby should be celebrated so I now think every pregnancy should have some sort of shower.

Varying opinions on this, but the consensus from an etiquette standpoint is - yes of the baby is a different sex or there is a large time gap in between the two. But if someone wants to throw you one I don't see why it's a big deal. If you're worried about it, I've seen some people do a 'sprinkle' instead of a shower where people just bring diapers or clothes instead of doing a full registry.

I heard there is some etiquette about 2nd baby showers... But I threw two baby showers for my friend's two babies. I say yes! You still need stuff and if not... have a diaper party!!! You always need those. 😉

Yes... 2nd 3rd 4th 5th... babies are just as important as 1st and deserve to be showered upon!!!
