How long did it take you to conceive after your SO came back from deployment?

My SO will be home in 4 months from deployment and we want to try and get pregnant.  Neither of us have kids. I've had a miscarriage before. I was wondering if it will take us a long time to conceive when he gets back and when I should stop taking the birth control.

I got pregnant within a week.

I went off bc about a month before he came home. We were pregnant from pretty much the first day he came home based on my cycles and when my predicted fertile window was. Unfortunately we lost the first one very early but we conceived again a couple months later and I just birthed our first daughter 36 hours ago.

I stopped taking birth control once he left for bct and all his other training when i was 18 we got married when I was 19 but we really didn't start trying until we moved in together when he was finally stationed in Alaska and in 2013 once he got back from the field after being gone for a month we tried that night and I got pregnant the first time now we have a crazy one year old boy lol
