Low thyroid counts?

I went in for my monthly check up with my ob last week and he said all my blood work was fine except that my thyroid levels were low...he said I could have a hypoactive thyroid but hes not sure because I'm not gaining weight....

Mines way off they put me on 50 mg of levothyroxine to start with if it keeps getting worse then they will probably put you on medication but I had it before I got diagnosed when i was 14 they started of off with 25 then I went to 75's then stopped takeing it because I didn't notice any difference and it actually fixed itself now that I'm pregnant again it's all messed up but I didn't have an issue when I had my other kids so I'm hopeing it goes back to normal after the baby

Have you been having morning sickness? That could cause the lack of weight gain. I have hypothyroidism, but didn’t find out until my first prenatal appointment at the beginning of the year. If I hadn’t gotten the blood work done when I did, I still wouldn’t know about it . I’ve had trouble losing weight because of it, but not necessarily weight gain. I was put on 25mcg of levothyroxine sodium which helped a TON. It’s perfectly safe to take while pregnant. Hope this helps!
