If I had the extensive training it takes to be a ballerina I would be one. Of course their careers don’t last forever, and it’s painfully tasking work, but it always seem so beautiful to me! I always wanted to be one, but due to my financial up bringing and a childhood injury it was never in the cards for me. Basically to be a successful ballerina you have to train when your under 5 years old and continue your whole life- there’s cases where people start older, but it’s much harder. I want to put my children in ballet and if they want to quit they can, they can do whatever they want, but it’s healthy and is a good base for other sports.
