I have been experiencing some light cramps and spotting for about a week now. My doc assures me that there is still a good chance things will be just fine, and I am scheduled for a 6 week ultrasound in a couple of days. This is my first pregnancy, and I just found out that they normally do the first ones transvaginally. I know they wouldn't do them if they caused miscarriage, but it still makes me really nervous. Has anyone had a successful abdominal u/s that early? I would feel way more comfortable with that, but I also want to make sure things are going well in there :)
