Have y’all turned your car seat around?

Have y’all turned your two year old around yet, if not are y’all waiting on a specific weight or age?

I'm waiting til she hits the weight max. I'm taking the new guidelines from the AAP seriously, because my daughter is tiny and I want her as safe as possible.

Waiting till he no longer tolerates being rear facing. It’s safer. I bought the extend to fit convertible car seat so we could keep him rear facing longer

We are still rear facing at 2 and whilst she’s happy to then I’m happy! I will persevere for as long as possible to keep her rear facing as it is so much safer, especially when their little bodies just can’t take being in an accident 💕

The law in Washington state says rear facing until 2, (which people ignore lol,) but we purposely got a car seat that will allow her to rear face for as long as possible.

Still rear facing and plan to until he maxes out the height.  My oldest rear faced until after 3.  He is now 5 1/2 and still in a 5 point harness car seat.  I never understand the rush to switch kids to the next stage of car seats so fast when a lot of them are nowhere near ready.  I have seen 3 year olds in just a booster with a seat belt and tiny 6 year olds with absolutely nothing.  Rear facing is soooo much safer and even though our kids are bigger now, the little bones in their neck and spine are still extremely fragile.

Waiting for him to reach the weight limit. He will probably be rear facing for awhile. His pediatrician also recommended waiting for the weight limit.

Waiting until he reaches the weight limit of his car seat. Or if he becomes a distracting pain in the ass rear-facing. So far he’s perfectly fine. It’s safer and probably more comfortable.

Turned her around at 18 months. She wouldn’t tolerate the car at all rear facing and has been wearing a 3T since 18 months old. Also not officially the law in NY yet.

Turned him around several months ago, as he would throw a screaming fit every time he went in his chair.
