Fetal hiccups

I'm 30 weeks preggo--my baby has been having fetal hiccups very regularly. Yesterday I think she had them 6 times lasting about 2-3 mins! I'm wondering if that's normal? I heard that excessive fetal hiccups can be a sign of cord compression.
