Oh the time before the first scan is definitely the worst part of pregnancy. And if you really don't know how far along you are or when you may have conceived that only adds to your anxiety. Please tell your gp or better yet the hospital about your concerns and that maybe you're further along. Also, often you can call the hospital for a self referral too. Or at least check if you're in the system yet (if your gp has referred you already). I was waiting forever for the mail with my appointment to come through. So when I lost patience I called them to see what was going on. They told me the date for my booking appointment and asked my if I wanted to book my scan while I was on the phone to avoid further delays! (My antenatal care is in the community so I would have had to wait again after the booking appointment for a scan appointment 😒). So I say do call the hospital, the midwives there are always very helpful and understanding. Good luck with your pregnancy. And hopefully you'll get to see your little on soon
No symptoms?
I'm round about 7 weeks, not 100% sure when I concieved as my cycles are all over the place due to pcos. The doctor won't do a scan yet & 2 weeks later im still waiting to hear from a midwife for my first appointment. I have had slight nausea and been sick a couple of times last week & have slightly tender boobs (if touched) but nothing else. Anyone else not experiencing any symptoms? I'm so worried but the doctors won't seem to do anything unless I have bad cramps or bleeding. 😔
