Is it fine to take prenatal vitamins and antibiotics at the same time while pregnant ?

It doesn’t matter about taking prenatal and antibiotic together. What DOES matter is WHICH antibiotic. 
Tetracyclines (minocycline, doxycycline), Bactrim, levaquin, cipro, flagyl are all antibiotics that should be avoided (unless specifically required for a disease process) in pregnancy due to possible increased risk of miscarriage.

There are some antibiotics that cant be taken with certain vitamins or minerals. However, it would say this on the bottle and on the paperwork from the pharmacy. Ciprofloxacin which I take often can not be taken with a prenatal vitamin. However cipro is not pregnancy safe so i doubt that's the one you're taking. But I know there are other drug interactions out there besides cipro but again, this would be labeled on the bottle from the pharmacy. As long as it doesn't say "avoid taking with xxx" you should be fine.

Call and ask your ob or midwife before doing anything. Just take your prenatal until you talk to them. Always best to be on the safe side.

I guess that's something a Dr would have to ok. Some antibiotics are not safe during pregnancy. But taking them with a prenatal in general wouldn't affect anything.
