Anxiety affecting heart rate during appts, dr sending me for ekg... this happen to anyone?

Had a loss last year at 28 weeks and every time I go to the dr I have high heart rates. I’m very emotional while there too... nervous about ekg...

It absolutely effects heart rate.  I was up in the 200s during the worst of my anxiety.

White coat syndrome definately happens. You have good reason for it to as well with your history. Try and relax(easier said then done for sure). An ekg is pretty simple and done in just a couple minutes. Good Luck!!

It shouldn’t affect your heart ❤️ where u should have to get a ekg I have anxiety and also had a panic attack before and nothing was wrong with my heart if I have anxiety my heart rate is usually over 120 . Ive also wore a heart monitor and nothing was wrong with my heart ♥️.
