words like 'ugly' hurt us as a society. we already have ridiculous beauty standards as adults lets not put those on our children as well. not every babies gonna be a gerber baby. but EVERY baby is beautiful and precious in its own way.

Oh yeah, definitely possible. I've seen a baby that had a wicked unibrow, among other unattractiveness. But then I also could spot every feature each parent gave him because they were both there, and they were below average too. I would never tell someone they had an ugly baby, as that's rude (and sometimes kids grow out of unattractive features), but I'm guilty of thinking it when I see one.

Newborns can look very strange. I had squinty eyes, was tall & skinny and just all around looked weird until 3 months old & I grew into your average baby.
I've seen babies with some funny features but I've never actually seen an "ugly" baby!

Yes, its totally possible! A relative of mine has a little boy that looks like a potato with teeth. My own brother looked like our family doctor when he was born. A 60 year old Indian :-D
