Pain with sex after c csection.

Forgive me for the long post.

5 years ago I went into labor with my son. They gave me staydol for the pain at first but afterwards I went with an epidural and they used a catheter.

When I got to 6 1/2 centimeters dilation I spiked a fever and had to have an emergency csection. Afterwards when I was given the all clear for sex we tried intimacy but all forms of penetration were intensely painful around my urethra area.

This pain lessened but did not go away for almost 2 years. I asked my doctor if it was normal but she have any answers that could help.

My question is has anyone else experienced this type of thing after their csections and does anyone think it would happen again with the second csection I will have to have for this pregnancy?
