Is it wrong?

So is it wrong of me to hide money from my husband? He always spends a whole lot of money on things such as alcohol, lunch for work and snacks while at work. I recently started working so he told me to leave 40 in the bank. $20 for him $20 for me. Well I check the balance to get me lunch and it's only 10$ left and I have never used any of it. So I want to hide my money so he can't take or use it but I kinda feel bad for hiding it.
