What next? Clueless here.

We have been trying for well
Over a year. Using OPK’s for almost a year. 
I do not have any known issues neither does my S.O.
I want to get the ball rolling on getting help. This is a stupid question but do I go to my regular Ob/ GyN first? Or do I find a specialist ?

Some people start with the ob because their insurance requires prior authorization to see a specialist. If your insurance doesn’t require a prior authorization, then you can make an appointment straight with the specialist.

I contacted a fertility clinic on my own and got a check up, took those papers to my regular doctor and the process was way quicker than waiting for my doctor to refer me to the testing.

Ok that’s what i wasn’t sure. If I needed a referral from my regular doctor or just went to a specialist.
