ttc or not to ttc

My husband and I have two different thoughts on this. he wants to try. we both want kids very much but I was told I had a very small chance of getting pregnant and if I did it could be dangerous for me. so we dont want to risk my heath but we are ttc anyway but every time I start my period I get really depressed and I'm not myself for a few days. I don't want to give up on him but idk what to do. any thoughts??

ps a friend of ours said she would sarrogate but we dont have that kind of money for that.
