Ivf in your 20’s
I had my first ever egg retrieval yesterday at 23 years old. I have a very low AMH for my age, 0.4 after surgery ( had large dermiod cysts removed from both ovaries in June, but kept both ovaries) and after nearly 2 years of trying, my husband and I decided to do IVF for our first baby.
11 eggs were retrieved. 7 mature and ICSI’d with sperm and today I have 6 that fertilized normally. I am very nervous about how many will grow into a day 5 blastocysts and how many will come back normal from PGS . The nurse at my clinic says about 20% come back normal, which makes me worry even more. I hope that I can at least get 1 or 2 normal embryos for our FET.
Does anyone have a similar experience? How many came back normal from PGS for you?
