How soon would I know if I’m pregnant ?

Hi !

So my husband and I have deceided to start having unprotected sex as I do not take the pill anymore and we are not using condoms . We are not actively planning for pregnancy and not putting any pressure on the situation and whatever happens happens 😊

With that being said... I’m not really the best when it comes to understanding the whole cycle thing .. we had sex yesterday and today both unprotected climax and I am supposed to be getting my period today or tomorrow...I know you can get pregnant anytime during your cycle and it says 2.8% chance today but how soon would I know I am pregnant if I were ? Would I take a test a few weeks from now before my next expected period ? Thanks in advance lol so new at this !
