Forgotten anniversary..

Have you ever forgotten your anniversary date, or a partners birthday, or any other date that had meaning between the two of you? I recently completely slipped on our 4 year anniversary. I came home to flowers, wine, my fave candy and the sweetest card. I ended up crying. I felt horrible. I dont know how to make it up to him. Other than the fact that we went out to dinner Thursday, Friday went to breakfast and house hunting, Saturday I made breakfast and brought to him in bed all cute and went on a boat ride in the city then today went to the beach. I made all of this happen, minus the house hunting. But I still feel guilty. I'm thinking to get him a card and a bottle of his favorite alcohol. Hes so good to me and I screwed up. I never forget any dates. But work has been so overwhelming, my cousin just passed away and we've been sucked into house hunting.
