Hi just went to pharmacy and bought this thermometer it's says orally under arm or rectally ?? Can it be used to bbt plz help

The key is that it goes to 2 decimal points... if it doesn't go to 2 decimal points you can't use it. I can't tell from the box.

Sorry hun, it won’t work. It needs to be to the 1/100th of a degree, (i.e. 98.23 is 1/100th of a degree). Yours is 1/10th of a degree. Yours would say 98.2 instead of 98.23. You need 2 numbers to the right of the decimal point. It’s easiest to buy one online that says BBT on it. That way there’s no confusion. Also, it should say that it tests to 1/100th of a degree.
