You can go to the doc and get your strings trimmed

I had to get the strings on mine trimmed multiple times because they kept stabbing my husband. When I got my iud out years later, they had a hard time finding the strings because they were so short. It was awful

I had this with my husband. The IUD had ‘dropped’ so it was in the wrong position and not giving protection like it was meant to. Deco get it checked. They were actually able to clamp on to the device itself on the hoop for the strings it had dropped that much... we’d been a bit too vigorous the time before 😳

The strings are probably too long.  The IUD itself is in your uterus.
