Is this normal? First pregnant spotting

I'm spotting some. I'm about 6 weeks. My dr wont see me until I'm 8 weeks and im sorta freaking out. This is my first pregnancy

I had pink spotting at 5 weeks and 6 weeks and I’m 26 weeks now and things are going great! Some women spot and some don’t.

It looks like old blood since it's brown in color which Drs say isn't a concern. Only red/pink is because it is fresh blood.

With my first two kiddos I didn’t have spotting but I spotted at 10 weeks with this baby after a Pap smear and it was brown old blood and a small amount. I’m 18 weeks now and all is fine. Have you had any sex recently honey? Your cervix is easily irritated because of how engorged with blood it is. Try and not freak out honey it’ll be okay. Can you call your OB and tell them you are spotting? I think brown is okay because it’s old. If it changes to bright red with clots and cramping please get checked!

Not trying to scare you or anything- but I had spotting and nothing else around 7 weeks, and went to the dr and ended up with blood and ultrasound and within 3 hours of ultrasound I had my tube removed, so while it might be nothing it could also be serious! Best of wishes for you!!

It can be, shooting in first trimester especially if its brown or pink can be totally normal. A doctor won't really be able to verify either way until pretty close to 8 weeks so it makes sense they want to wait. Hang in there! I know how much the wait stinks.

i'm a little over 6 weeks and have noticed a very very small amount of light brown spotting as well. i havent had any cramping and from what i have heard as long as it's not pink or red or in large amounts it should be okay😊
