My family is planning my baby shower for September 12 and I just found out my best friend since childhood has a wedding that same day to attend. I can't make it the week before because of Labor Day weekend and I feel as though the following week makes it so close to my due date. Baby is due 10/22 and I already wanted it sooner then the 12th. I'm not sure my family is crazy about hosting one on the Sunday th3 13th for some reason. I also have a high risk of going into preterm labor and don't know what to do! I want my best friend to be there but I feel like my family really doesn't care how much it means to me
