Daughter hates school

So it hasn’t even been a week since my daughter has started kindergarten. She was VERY excited for the first day, but everything after that has been a nightmare trying to get her to go. She cries every morning and tells me she misses me. She also says that “her brain thinks differently and doesn’t want to do everything they are doing”. Waking her up early in the morning is a HUGE factor in her not wanting to go to school. My heart is breaking and I have no idea what to do. I don’t want to force her to go to school. Has anyone heard of/tried Montessori school? Or possibly homeschool? Any kind of information would be great. Maybe this is just a phase, but she’s been pretty consistent on stating she does not like going ever since her first day.

Also, before starting kindergarten, she was in pre K for about a year. That didn’t start until 9am and she got out at 12. She NEVER complained about that school.
