Wish I Had More People in My Area Who are Christian.

Scarlett • Married, Christian, young, woman who is TTC baby #1.

I am 23 years old and married. I’ve been raised in the church and in the south my entire life.

I’m fairly introverted and have a handful of friends, but I have hardly any who share my beliefs. Sometimes I get to feeling really lonely. I attend a Church of Christ in a small town that only has about 70 people at most. It is the church my family had attended for generations. The only thing is my husband and I are the youngest adults there. I have no friends my own age who share my beliefs. I would never trade the friends I have, as I am very close to them. But sometimes I wish I had somebody to talk to who believed the same as me. Who understood where I was coming from and I could go to Christian events with.

There are very few other Churches of Christ in my area and they are all older people as well.

It’s just hard on me sometimes. My only Christian friend I have is Baptist and I hardly ever see her due to work schedules and our lives getting in the way. My other 3 friends are a wiccan and two atheist. I look past their flaws and pray for them. Just ranting I guess. Despite being married sometimes I feel really lonely.
