So let me start by saying my son is 13 months. I’m having a c-section October 26th. So when he’ll be 15months, my son is not showing any signs of weening. Here’s my dilemma. My son will be staying with my brother and SIL while I’m in the hospital for 3-4 days. I’ve never been able to pump more than a couple drops since he was about 5 months old. I have NO FROZEN MILK. There’s no way for him to brought to the hospital 3-5 times a day while I’m there. Now I know they can handle an extremely cranky miserable baby. But I don’t want him to go 3-4 days without milk. I’ve tried talking with a Lactation consultant, I’ve tried all the different tricks to boost supply but it’s not a supply issue, my body just wont release milk to the pump, and when it does instead of spraying out it just dribbles out and leaks down my chest instead of spraying and going into the bottles. WHAT CAN I DO?! I don’t want my son to feel abandoned and not have milk. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Tia.
