How do you know you're having a miscarriage?

If you have no bleeding how do you know? My boobs have been so sore the past 7 weeks and today they feel completely normal and no pain. I'm worried my hormone levels are dropping but I've have no bleeding.

Every once in a while my boobs stop hurting and then the next day god forbid a breeze goes by because they hurt so bad. My doc said as long as there's no pain and no bleeding from my lower half, I shouldn't worry. Symptoms will change daily for some women. Also I was told that every time I throw up I should smile because I'm having a strong and healthy pregnancy. Although every time I was holding my toilet bowl I sure as hell was not smiling because of it.

It's totally normal for symptoms to come and go. I wouldn't worry at all. Have you had your first doc appt yet?

You'll know if it's a miscarriage because of the cramps. Not just a cramp here and there, but sustained cramps over a period of hours, like when you get your period. Some people say it's worse than regular cramps, but mine were pretty much the same as a normal period.
