We had US that said I was 5w5d. My hcg levels are going up, but not doubling (around 1000). Dr says that if US doesn’t show a fetal pole or yolk sac next week (I’ll be 6w5d) that I need to plan a D&C surgery or take medicine to induce a miscarriage. I am still having morning sickness like crazy, sore tender breasts, smell EVERYTHING that no one else can smell lol, normal pregnancy symptoms. I just feel like if my numbers ARE going up and I feel pregnant then why rush to clean out my uterus? Is a US THAT definitive that early in pregnancy? Why not give me the option to let my body naturally miscarry if that is what is meant to happen? I don’t know if it’s me being hopeful but I feel like I should wait until at least 8 weeks to see if anything is on US. Has anyone had similar US results with slow rising hcg levels and still have a healthy viable pregnancy?
