Unfortunately, you did it way too early. Gender tests only work after 9-10 weeks when baby starts developing parts. Granted, this test is purely a “for fun” thing, but right now, the baking soda test is only functional as a pregnancy test. You need to wait until like 10-11 to get a gender based result.

I did it with my daughter and it was right . I'm 14 weeks now and did it this pregnancy and said boy but i haven't found out the gender yet so idk if it's right. Definitely not dependable but fun to try.
