Whats the difference between hoco and prom? And what should I wear to hoco?

Im new to high school since Ive been homeschooled. Im a junior.

Hoco is at the beginning of the year and usually accompanies the first home football game. Prom is at the end of the year and people dress more glam and formally than at hoco (prom dresses are usually longer while hoco has more casual and shorter dress but it’s up to the girl).

It’s almost the same thing. Prom tends to be the bigger deal tho. You should wear a formal/ fancy dress. A lot of girls are going w these type of dresses to hoco
