Question Please answer its about the D&C procedure

Ok well i had a miscarriage on saturday and i went to wich was gunna be my 1st prenatal visit. But since my miscarriage happend i still had to go cause at the ER they said it was up to my ob to see if he would do the D&C cause they said unless i had symptoms i could go back to the ER and they could do it. Does anyone else feel weird not having a opinion on whether or not u want a D&C done just to get it over with???? Cause i feel so bad having to wait for it to just come out on its own like i just want it to let the baby rest. Just my opinion and plus the doc told me they only do the D&C wen ur 9-10 weeks is that true? I was only about 7weeks and now i have till next week to go back if everything is still the same the doc said he would do the procedure.
