When to move on to IVF?
Currently 6 weeks out from my second miscarriage - just got cleared today to begin treatment again, but waiting on my RPL blood test results. Debating if we should do IUI again or if it's time to move on to IVF.
I'm 29, husband is 30. First miscarriage was conceived naturally (6 weeks), second was through IUI after trying for over a year (7 weeks). Genetic testing revealed tetraplodiy chromosome issue on the 2nd one.
All other tests are normal except a mild male factor motility issue. IVF is covered by my insurance but PGS/ICSI are not.
Do I risk a 30% chance of miscarriage again and do IUI? Or pay thousands with for IVF/PGS testing for peace of mind? Ugh.
