So, how do you really try to not think about getting pregnant every few minutes throughout the day?

I will give a bit of my background...I am 33 and have 3 children, the youngest is 7. My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, and I got pregnant with my oldest 3 months afterwards. My daughter and youngest son we're very welcomed surprises! My kids were the only good thing that came from my marriage to their father, though. Fast forward a bit and I am remarried to the absolute man of my dreams! The first time I saw him I felt like someone punched me in my face, I got hit by a speeding truck and the sun exploded but in the greatest way! The first time he kissed me, I swear, time and the Earth stopped for what seemed like hours!

Sorry, I am rambling!...

The hubby had his vasectomy reversed and was "good to go" 2 weeks afterward. His swimmers were above normal at his 6 week post-op checkup. He has 2 children also, so there are no issues with him at all. Of course, though, my cycles are all over the place! One will be 32 days, one will be 43, then back to 30...it's so frustrating! Period tracker apps get confused by me and I have not had a positive ovulation test since I started using them daily this month. We have been TTC since May, so I know it hasn't been long, but no luck yet. It definitely isn't from lack of doing the BD, we are like teenagers when it comes to that!

My problem is, this is the first time I have really, truly tried to get pregnant, and I find myself letting it consume me. We eat right, both of us are taking vitamins, I had a checkup, he had his, and all is well for both of us. Even though we both know it can take months to conceive, I am anxious and want it to happen soon. I have already taken around 7 pregnancy tests and every time I feel a twinge in my boobs or anything else that was a symptom for me previously I get excited. I also know that I didn't get pregnant with my oldest until after I quit worrying and thinking about it! So...how do you keep yourself from thinking about something that you want so badly!!?? I have plenty to keep me busy; we just bought a new house, I am going back to school again, I want to start my own business, and, we have 5 kids! I am plenty busy! My mind is always drifting off to thoughts of babies and a big pregnant belly and the joy of welcoming a child who is the combination of myself and the love of my life, though. I am having fun trying, but, I also didn't realize how much it could play on your nerves!
