Shaving tips?

Being that I can’t wax yet, I have to shave 🙄. 
 
Any tips on how to or how to prevent cutting and razor bumps😬. 
 All tips are appreciated💕

Shave downward going with the way the hair is going rather than against the direction of the hair. Some people say use coconut oil too. Never tried it but I could see how it could help. And yes don’t use a dull razor
