When will the bleeding stop 😡

I gave birth over 3 weeks ago (vaginally) and I’m still bleeding! Some days it’s really light and seems like it’s almost gone and then I’ll have bloody discharge! My episiotomy is completely healed 😒

You can bleed up to 6 weeks pp. if it’s bright red you might be doing too much, try dialing movement back. If you’re super concerned I’d consult your OB or Midwife.

I bled for 3 weeks with my first baby and 5 weeks with my second who is now 7 weeks old. It really varies. Both of mine were c-sections. I think I bled longer with my second because I had to be up and moving more to keep up with my 3 year old.
