Husband jelouse about new baby to come?

Hi! I am expecting my first baby. I have been married for 1 year. My husband ask me, now that I am going to have a new love in my life, how am I going to balance the love between him and the baby? I didn't know what to say. Because I think he is right. So far everything I of is baby related, I love my bean more than anything. How can I balance my 2 loves?

That seems a little weird. If that was my husband asking I'd be like how are you going to balance me and the new baby's love? Haha but that's just me.
​It seems like he's not feeling that loved right now. My husband felt like that when I was on a medication that made sex insignificant to me. Almost ruined us. We talked about it though. You can tell him that's it's a different kind of love. I will never love anyone as much as I love my son, including my husband. But it's a different kind of love. He'll change when the baby is born and you will too, you can try to make their bond stronger by having your husband cuddle and okay other the baby when he comes home from work, do family things during the weekend. I needed time for me so even when my son was very young my husband took care of him from the time he and home till I put him to bed. Reinforce their bond, and also take a day twice a month for a date for just you too.

I don't think it's about balancing either or I think it would be joint effort on both your parts to love the baby and each other just as much if not more ! Love grows!

Your husband is your biggest ally in this parenting thing, and it's important to show you love him through it all. I do simple things everyday to show it, as does my husband to me. Little notes tucked away for him to find in his lunch or wallet, we go out to dinner, (have a sitter for a few hours) or make a favorite dish at home, we plan hikes or walks through the neigborhood, make sure we hug and kiss each other in the morning and when we walk through the door at the end of the work day. Find simple ways to express gratitude everyday, it doesn't have to be huge, just meaningful.

That is always been that hardest thing for me, if anyone can find a balance I don't know what their secret is. Having a child changes your relationship and the baby can't do things for themselves. I always have put my son before my husband because he needs me more.
