When did your wedding ring no longer fit?💍

Question

I know the body can be horrible about swelling and water retention, but I’m curious to know if anyone had swelling in their hands and were unable to wear their rings. 
Did you wear a substitute? A silicone band or go without. How did your SO feel?
I’m hoping this time around I won’t have swelling since I’ll be pregnant in the winter versus the summer, but who knows. Thanks ladies. 🌻

I bought a silicone ring for when I can't wear mine... However I'm at 31 weeks and they still fit perfectly. 🤷 I've only gained about 15 lbs so that probably helps. Granted I started off overweight.

I just read this post and was like oh I should check my ring.. sure enough I had a hard time getting it off and I couldn't get it back on 
So thank you for this reminder to check my ring I would have hated to get it cut off or something!

I took my ring off when I was admitted and they put an IV. For some reason my arm always gets swollen. I gave my ring to my husband who put it on his necklace and wore it for maybe a month, until I remembered and my hands were not swollen.

I went from a size 7 ring to size 9 during my 1st pregnancy (2+ years ago)so my bridal set was a waste- too many little gems might as well buy a new one then size it so big up. 
I'm 9 months preg again with second baby and of course still cant fit. My husband isnt bothered by it but I am. You get judged already being pregnant and going places with no ring is super annoying. 
I decided after this fresh baby is 1yrs old whatever size my fingers are then I'm making him buy me a whole new set for making me look single for 3yrs.

omg mine stopped fitting at around 7 weeks. like it fits, but it hurts. so it's at the jewelers right now, getting resized. I plan to get pregnant as soon as possible after this baby comes out and I want to wear my ring lol

Typically I just wore them on a chain. But I have a toddler this time around so I got a silicone one..  and I love it. 
I'm 26 weeks and randomly have days they are tight.  So I just already switched to be on safe side. 
My husband doesn't care at all. There was a time I didnt wear them or anything between pregnancies and losing weight..I've gone many of time with out any rings.

It was already a little loose on me, not like falling off loose but enough wiggle room. I wore it the whole pregnancy until they induced me. Then I gave it to my fiance and he held onto it for a few days. They told me I could keep it on if I wanted to but some of the meds they were using could cause my hands to swell. So it was precautionary on my part. My hands ended up not swelling but it was nice to not have to worry about it later if they had.

I can still put mine on at 37 weeks but I only wear it for special occasions.

I started wearing just my band around 32 weeks, and that became uncomfortable at 36 weeks. It’s been outrageously humid here and I’ve heard horror stories about women having them cut off so I didn’t want to risk it. It was a sad day, but I got a fake set for $25. Everyone thinks it’s real and has been complimenting it 😉

Mine fit the entire time, so I never had to get a new one. My friend had to stop wearing hers in the 3rd trimester and she bought a different one to wear
