Anyone else....

....hate it when people try to help but just aren’t helpful? Lol. We had a barbecue on Saturday and my MIL decided she was going to “help” pick up after everyone ate... she started piling everything in one giant wrap of tinfoil (hotdogs, chips, watermelon) 🤦🏻‍♀️. I said please stop I will put it away... she starts putting all the food away in the wrong cupboards... I just want to keep my kitchen organized and its becoming more of a mess. She keeps telling me “no you need to put it all in one big tinfoil - using that glass tupperware is stupid!” After telling her 5x to please stop I just gave up and left.

Do whatever you want in your own house, but jfc when someone tells you to please stop in their house why must you not listen?? Her telling us how everything we do is “the wrong way” is a constant battle... all I heard all day was “you put the burgers in the wrong spot, you didn’t cook the chicken in enough sauce.”

I wouldn’t dream of going to someone’s house where they literally fed me free food/alcohol and complaining about it...

$300 on a BBQ just to hear her complain.... never again LOL

My husband said he stayed outside because he didn’t want to deal with it. Thanks, babe. 🙄 We rearraged all the food and put it away correctly after she left 🤦🏻‍♀️
