A miracle!!!

You may have seen my previous post about our babies' upper lip and tongue ties and not being able to afford the preferred provider in our state (because it's freaking $1200 and they don't take insurance). Well this week, I'm in Tennessee with my mom and yesterday, it crossed my mind that we may be close to one in Tennessee (if they even have a preferred provider; not all states have one). Lo and behold, there's one in Chattanooga!! I thought okay well there's no way they'd be able to see us before I go back home. The receptionist said the answer was originally no but they saw the pictures I emailed them and they do appear to have lip and tongue ties so she will see them tomorrow at 9:45am! They do a consult and then a laser revision same day, which is the best kind: no general anesthesia needed and I can be with the babies for the whole procedure. And they can nurse immediately afterward. This is a MIRACLE! It's a 4 hour drive from where we are, but the closest one that takes insurance from where I am back home is 10 hours away! I prayed that we would find the best "second best" provider for this (someone not on the preferred providers list) and was so stressed trying to find someone who would see us even though they are gaining weight on the bottle. God just opened all the right doors and worked this out so perfectly for my girls. I'm so looking forward to the rest of our nursing journey!
