Can being "healthy" actually not be so healthy?
Call me crazy but this summer I've made some lifestyle changes that are quote on quote "healthy" and I'm experiencing some not so seemingly healthy side effects.
I'm 22 and in good health, but as a college student I realized that living on instant Mac and cheese, alcohol, and coffee was probably not the best. Walking to class was usually the most I exercised except for a couple times a month when I made myself workout. This summer I made some changes:
1. Got a water bottle and started drinking a lot of water
2. Cut back on alcohol and coffee, and started drinking more ginger and chamomile tea.
3. Got into running regularly, as well as yoga
4. Eating balanced meals that have a combo of veggies, protein, fat, and healthy carbs. I don't eat perfect all the time but I know that I'm eating more nutritiously than I used to.
Ever since, my stomach gurgles all the time. I have gas and bloating and burping. I'm lucky if I can poop even once a day, and it's usually not solid or like rabbit pellets. Anyone experience this before??? My mood and energy levels might be better, but im embarrassed by my noisy tummy and annoyed by my constipation.
