I just was watching something about this. In Germany they are making the law to let the child choose when they are older.

I would do genetic testing. I cant imagine the mental damage it would cause to let the child decide later... How would you raise them?

Discuss with my doctor.
If it was not harming my child and would not cause health issues, leave them how they are and let them decide later on.
If it was a health risk or could cause issues, I would go with what the doctor suggests is the best option for my baby.

I would leave them be,
There are TONS of cases of the doctor measuring the penis and concluding this it is a “female” (if the penis is under a certain size it’s not considered male genitalia.)
The penis is then-I kid you not-cut off and they are told to raise the child as a girl.
Come age 13 and testosterone production kicks in....turns out the dominant hormones were male hormones. Imagine the poor child’s trauma.
You can’t know, even with genetic testing. Lots of the time it’s that the child has three sex chromosomes-XXY, which means they would go by measuring the penis, which is wildly inaccurate. I would never do that to my child.

I wouldn't surgically correct until the child was ready to decide. I would raise them as the gender their chromosomes suggested.

I would leave genetalia as it was, then wait for child to grow a bit and leave it to them as they are older.
