Water break?

I'm 39+3 days, I went to go to the bathroom and I heard a low pop, almost like the sound a joint makes when you pop it. I've peed 3 times in the last ten minutes. If your water breaks can you hold it until you make it to the bathroom. I've never had my water break on its own. Any help?

Just depends on the baby's head. If it's covering the cervix, then when you sit or stand, it could right baby causing leaks of the amniotic fluid. Call your doctor. Labor is imminent. Good luck! :)

It can treacle out- but it's not like urine. You can't hold it.

Not completely sure but I don't think you can hold it back if your water breaks. I know it can break and leak for a long time or it can just trickle. My SIL water broke and it leaked for 24 hours. My water has never broken so I'm no expert! Lol! Good luck though!
