Losing hope.

I just turned 40 last month and I'm losing hope that I will ever have a healthy pregnancy. My SO and I have been trying for over 3 years, had all the fertility testing done, and I've had 2 miscarriages. I truly thought this was my month and I began spotting last night. My SO and I work opposite shifts so it's difficult for us to BD during my fertile week. I've tried everything aside from IUI or IVF because of the expense. I bawled last night at work when I began spotting. Am I really just kidding myself about getting pregnant in my 40s?
