Bassinet stroller? (First time mom)

Is it necessary that a stroller convert into a bassinet or should a standard travel system be fine??

Answer

Honestly depends on your lifestyle. Outside of the car, time in the car seat should be minimal, so if you're just running errands or taking short walks the standard travel system is fine. If you plan to take a lot of long leisurely walks, especially if you want baby to nap during these times and/or if you want to leave them napping there when you return home, a bassinet is better (and safer). This is really only relevant for a few months though until you can put them in the regular stroller seat.

Im using mamas&papas stroller it can be set on full recline posisition, so your newborn baby will sleep on a flat surface, works pretty much the same compare to bassinet 😄

I never used the car seat outside of the car, a bassinet is WAY better for baby’s back. Used it for long walks, letting baby sleep in it when visiting friends and family, also for letting baby take naps both indoors and outdoors. Would have used it still if baby wasn’t so extremely long.

For us it would be nice to have a bassinet style stroller, our son HATES his infant seat and we're about to switch to a convertible sooner then we planned.
