Follow up to narrow down... thx for humoring me! Girl’s name:

Very Scottish last name, and we live in the midatlantic (for anyone who considers the region important:))

I’ll just put again here what I put on my other bigger poll...

Jemima: always my favorite name and reminds me of Jemima from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (the little girl). A friend has a 10 year old Jemima and she hasn’t had issues— in fact is a strong personality and really rocks it. I live in the US, and of course am aware of Aunt Jemima... but I think kids aren’t as familiar with it these days (my sister’s 17 and 8 year olds don’t even know who she is, I think?), and I wonder if a girl with her own personality could really own it. Nn: mima, jem, jemmy, mimey

Felix: someone I looked up to a lot named her (very cool) daughter Felix. I just thought it was really great. I know it’s usually a boy’s name. Nn: Fee
