Baby with a 101.4 fever... no other symptoms, so thinking maybe he’s teething?

FTM- what can I do for my baby because of a fever? How do I rule out it’s nothing more serious?

Infant tylenol and a cool (NOT cold) bath will help the fever. As for teething pain, if you dont have teethers that go in the freezer, freeze breast milk (or formula) and let him chew on it :)

Fever and teething is said to be a myth. If baby is not cranky I would make sure they are cool, maybe a cool teething ring. If baby is cranky and won't sleep then I would give Tylenol. A fever is the body doing its thing. Baby could be getting a cold or ear infection or something.
