Nonstress test...confused
My doctor told me today that they want me to come back in 4 weeks for a Nonstress test. My BMI has reached above 30 and he said this is the reason why, as they have all their patients with a BMI over 30 do this.
I have read this can carry risks to the baby. I don’t have any high risk symptoms other than my weight—no swelling, BP is 102/74, no GB, all blood work always good, baby is big measuring 2wks ahead but very healthy and active movement throughout the day.
Is it necessary to get a Nonstress test based on just BMI alone if everything else is going great with your health and your babies health?
