Has anyone got pregnant being a pack a day smoker???

My on is really pushing me to quit said it's most of my problem for not conceiving

I mean if you are trying to get pregnant, youre going to have to quit anyways since you cant(shouldnt) smoke while pregnant. And it will be better for you as well.

We tried for a year and half to have a baby. I quit smoking and I got pregnant that month.

I mean not being able to conceive could be the result of a lot of different issues, but quitting will definitely up your chances, and as others have said you have to quit while you're pregnant anyway. Why not start now?

I quit the day before I got a positive test. The night I conceived I was drunk and smoking like a chimney. I had started taking meds a few days before that to help me quit, but hadn't actually started cutting down yet. 
This was after over 2 years trying to conceive.

Yes 4 times. Hopefully I can keep nicotine free after this baby. Smoking is a struggle for me but I’ve never had trouble getting pregnant but it’s not good for your health and I’m sure it wacks with some peoples  fertility. Good luck! It’s always hard at first but after you get over this first hump, it will be easier and you’ll breathe and feel much better!
