I had my baby shower today and it was amazing. The only thing I would have changed, was it was outdoors and windy. Not to mention we were on the lake, so it made it worse. It took about 1.5-2 hours for food to cook and an hour to decorate due to the wind. I loved the outcome. My parents drove 2.5 hours to come to the shower, even though they are having one at their house in a month. My friend who I haven't seen in 4+ years drove over 3 hours to come celebrate. There was some drama, but what baby shower doesn't have some kind of drama. I'm just so happy I got to see my parents and see how many people care about our little boy. Made me feel closer than ever to my mom. It was however hard because my grandma passed away and she didn't get to be here. I always dreamed about her being at my shower, but I know she was in spirit. I didn't let that stop me. It was a beautiful day.
