First trimester screenings

Hi ladies,

Has anyone had the first trimester screenings done and they weren’t covered by insurance? I tried contacting insurance and they want me to have my doctor submit forms about why I’m getting genetics done and THEN they’ll give me an estimate. They wouldn’t give me even a ballpark out of pocket. SO ANNOYING! I know it won’t be covered as it’s optional for us. (No medical history and not Hugg risk) The ultrasound will be covered 90% but they couldn’t tell me the blood work.

Curious what any of you ladies may have paid out of pocket for your tests!?
