Dates??

Question

So today I thought I was 8+4. I just had my follow up appointment from my ultrasound and was told I’m exactly 9 weeks today. I know the doc said it doesn’t really matter as it’s only a few days but I’m really confused. To my calculations my LMP was the 13th of July so it doesn’t really add up if this is correct. Now I’m second guessing when my LMP was 🤨

Answer

Ultrasounds are not 100% and nor are our bodies. You could have implanted earlier. But ultrasounds have a 4 day + and 4 day - where they can be out. So you could get an ultrasound today and be 9 weeks but if you did another tomorrow you could be 8 weeks 6 and this is always normal. I have ultrasound pics from the same day and time where bub is 11w6 and 12w 2. Don’t stress to much bub will come around your due date when it’s ready. 💜
